The cancer journey is a truly life-changing event. Nshelter provides emotional support and assistance to children so the parent can focus on cancer treatment and recovery. In line with that mission, we offer prayer meetings dedicated to the family. Perhaps surprisingly, the NIH published a report on the efficacy of prayer and its positive impact on healing. Prayer heals.
Powered by Our Journey Of Hope, our cancer care ministry is a nondenominational prayer group dedicated to cancer patients, families, caregivers, and doctors.
Because of our personal experiences with cancer, we support the medical community’s treatments and protocols, and we believe in prayer.
Prayer is powerful. When we pray, we are not just talking to the air. We are making our requests known to a living God who loves us more than we can comprehend. Take a leap of faith today and allow God to step in. A prayer team will commit to praying with you.
We are Christians, we are cancer survivors, we are chaplains and we are educators. We love dedicating our time to serve our community. Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
